Sarah Baio
My love for medicine was born in an MRI machine. I'm an Allied Health Sciences major and Spanish minor on a Pre-PA track with a concentration in orthopedics. I hope to one day work with patients that I can give deserving answers to.
My Plans:
-
Become CNA certified to earn patient care hours for PA school
-
Obtain a mentor from UCONN Pre-Physician Assistant Patient Care Alliance Club (PAPCA)
-
Continue with UCONN's Cross Cultural Connection Club
-
Study abroad in Granada, Spain along with a 6-week clinical experience (2025)
-
Intern at South Shore Hospital or Beth Israel
-
Intern at Massachusetts General Hospital
MY BIO
I've lived in Pembroke, MA for nearly all my life. I'm an avid Boston sports fan, family girl, and coffee drinker. I am a first generation eager college student who is blindly navigating college life. I am a member of Pi Beta Phi here at the University of Connecticut and hope to one day be an orthopedic PA in a Spanish-speaking country. I am fluent in Spanish and enjoy language exchange and travel. I thrive on stage and love collaboration. I strive to help others and am versatile, adaptable and transparent in my work.
